KUSAKA GENZUI sent this letter to IRIE KUICHI and MAEBARA ISSEI(1834-1876) in Hagi domain, in May 1860. He stayed Edo for a while to study English. He explained in detail of how matters stand in Edo after Sakuradamongai Incident. He also mentioned the movement in Hagi domain.
